My name is Maria and I'm an illustrator and storyteller from Mexico, my work is driven by making mundane things feel whimsical and special and the bright colors of mexican maximalism.
After I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Concept Art, I realized the love I have for children's media and since then I've been working with different clients as an independent illustrator making children's books, book covers and school material.
In my spare time I love to crochet different pieces for me and my loved ones, walk my dogs and go to the movies
